“Gordie”
Kevin, “Gordie” V. was born on Mar. 31, 1952 in Saskatchewan, Canada. He played for the Matignon Warriors and the Boston Reefers.
Gordie joined the Matignon Warriors at the young age of 12, playing right wing. Immediately he proved his worth in his position, being successful with both goals and play-making. He finished in the top 5 scoring for 20 straight seasons. Gordie graduated at age 32. He then went on to excel in defensive positions on the World Famous Boston Reefers, where he skates today. Renowned for his impatience with younger players, Gordie is a feared and respected competitor. Gordie is the only player to ever hold BOTH the High Scoring Record and the Penalty Minutes Record in two leagues simultaneously.
The infamous “Gordie Hat Trick” is said to be a goal, a fight, and an assist. Gordie has claimed dozens of these throughout his career.
